Hi there, this is Giuseppe Palermo and welcome in my personal corner of the internet—an attempt to tell you who I am and what I do, without sounding like a walking résumé or a LinkedIn profile (don’t worry, I’ve inserted those too—just in case you miss bullet points and endorsements!). Think of it as a behind-the-scenes tour, and no, you don’t need to buy a ticket. The velvet rope is down.

Italian by birth, international by habit. Officially, I reside in Novara, a charming town near Milan known for its quiet elegance and excellent risotto. Unofficially, I live in a suitcase: my job keeps me bouncing between Milano and Busseto (yes, that the lovely Busseto the one with Giuseppe Verdi, La Traviata, and more musical drama than a reality show), and across a generous list of countries that sound like the itinerary of a very confused travel blogger: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Congo, Kazakhstan, Oman, Kuwait, Romania, Algeria, and anywhere else that requires a passport, a power adapter, and a decent Wi-Fi signal (continued)

Skills & Cv

So here’s the deal… If you’re assembling a rebel alliance or just staffing a plant or project I’m your guy. I specialize in HR analysis, organization, staff planning, and recruiting for operations that range from start-up missions to full-blown Death Star construction (yes, I’ve seen the blueprints. No, I didn’t design the exhaust port).

I’m a Senior HR Professional, which is a fancy way of saying I can lead organizational, development, and learning strategies without needing a Jedi Council to approve every move. I’ve managed HR plans and policies with a budget focus so sharp, even the Empire’s finance department would nod in approval. Darth Vader? He’d probably ask me to run payroll—right before force-choking someone over a missed deadline (continued)

MY LIFE

Well… If you’ve already snooped around my profile (and let’s be honest, you have do it!) — you’ve probably figured out I’m a Star Wars fan. Not just a “I like lightsabers” kind of fan: I’m talking full-on, quoting-Yoda-in-meetings, debating-the-Clone-Wars-at-dinner kind of fan and I collect the Lego figures. So yes, the Force is strong with this one. And no, I don’t own a robe. Not Yet.

This section? It’s the informal bit. The “here’s the human behind the professional HR” part. The rest of the website is where I pretend to be professional. This is where I admit I’m still caffeinated.

We spend most of our lives in meetings making decisions, pretending we understand Excel formulas, and replying to emails that make less sense than Alfredo' fettuccine but we’re more than that. Work doesn’t define us. Life needs space—away from buzzing phones, endless meetings and the relentless pursuit of profit. (continued)
